Given topic question : “What is the relationship between branding and The Consumer Self (Ewen)”
My research question will be 'How does advertisement alter the quality of brands?'
My hypothesis is that brands and branded products are advertised in the way that attracts a certain type of audience/consumer. Brands can be advertised in many different formal and informal ways, however there are times where the appearance can be enhanced or changed by the way it is advertised to the public.
I will research and work into how brands are advertised, who is the target audience. Does the quality of the actual product match the way it was portrayed?. If not, how was the quality of the product enhanced?.
I will use videos, books and general everyday online advertisement as primary and secondary research to help me build a response.
The best type of method I can use to help back up the research I carry out and work I produce are reviews and opinions, either personal, primary/secondary.
